1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and K M Fazle Rabbi ("we," "us," or "our") for your use of Atlas Universities (the "Service"), available at this website and related pages.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. The Service
Atlas Universities provides an interactive reference tool to explore accredited U.S. universities using publicly available federal education data (including IPEDS and related NCES sources). The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
We do not operate as a college admissions service, accreditor, lender, or employment agency. Listing an institution does not constitute endorsement, partnership, or recommendation.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data at a rate that impairs the Service or its sources
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute substantial portions of the Service
- Misrepresent affiliation with Atlas Universities, K M Fazle Rabbi, or any listed institution
- Upload malware or interfere with the operation or security of the Service
4. Accounts and saved data
Certain features (such as saved institutions or shareable filter links) may store preferences in your browser (for example, local storage). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and browser.
5. Intellectual property
The Service's design, copy, branding, and original compilation are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Public federal datasets remain subject to their own licenses and attribution requirements.
You may share links to filtered views and export data for personal, non-commercial research where permitted, provided you do not remove required source attributions.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. See our Disclaimer for data accuracy limitations.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless K M Fazle Rabbi from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Termination
We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or restrict access, at any time without notice. Sections that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will survive.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
